Colour me Surprised!!!

So I went for my running room run last night, fully prepared to colapse half way through.

Remember, we were moving on to 4 and 1. Which means 4 minutes of running and 1 minute of walking. Last week when we did 3 and 1, I only ran once! Not smart. You need to practice! Talk about setting yourself up for failure!

But I went last night, knowing it was going to be hard, and that I was going to have to battle through. Face the fear, and do it anyway! I promised myself that I would not fall off the running wagon again, because it only hurts me...literally.

I am happy and excited to tell you that the run was fantastic!!! Yes we only did 5 sets, but I DID IT!!! And I didn't feel sick or in pain! I know I could have done more. I felt great at the end. I am soo incredibly proud of myself. I am looking forward to practice tonight.

On another positive note I was down 1.5 at my weigh in this morning. What a fantastic day!!

Let's keep this momentum going.

Thanks Tracer for the heart to heart yesterday, I know that is what is helping get back on track. Luv ya!

Running...Or Lack there of

When I joined the Running Room a month ago I was doing soo well! I was running 3 times a week with the clinic and atleast 2-3 times on my own.

I am pissed off at myself that I have not been running since last Wednesday!

And it's the hardest week of the training... 3 and 1

I only did one night of 3 and 1. Not much practice going into tonight where we start 4 and 1.

Wish me a whole lot of luck!

Will post later....if I am coherent!

For a total of 30.5 inches lost

WOW!

Talk about falling off the wagon!! Kathud!

As you can see by my measurements and lack of blogging, I have really been slacking the past few months.

I could easily blame it on all the things that have happened in my life the last few months, but what would be the point. So let's just say I lost my way and am finding my way back.

I joined the Running Room a couple of weeks ago. Anyone who knows me, knows I hate to run. But I challenged myself to kick start my weight loss again, and to start running in honour of a dear friend who passed away. I have to say I am loving it!!! The support is amazing! The women I run with are fantastic!! I don't have time right now to go into to details, but I will post later on My running room experience.

I need to get back on track with my menu as well. 80% of weight loss and maintenance is due to what you put in your mouth. 80%!!!! I don't know why I am faltering with my menu, but I know I need to buckle down and get back to basics!

So here I am...starting from the beginning.

Wish me luck!
